Therapeutic Approaches
The ‘How’
Individualized care, most often utilizing;
Mindfulness: Presence, intentional awareness, and consciousness.
Psychodynamic: Childhood adaptations, pattern recognition, sense of self, family of origin, attachment needs and wounds.
Somatic: Body based processing, breath work, and body scans.
Internal Family Systems: Inner child/critic work, observance and curiosity of different parts of you.
Cognitive Therapy: Awareness of how your thoughts, behaviors, and feelings effect one another.
ERP (Exposure Response Prevention): Helps those with OCD form a new relationship to fear and anxiety.
I want the people I work with to feel connected, held and valued in the therapeutic relationship. I believe this the most impactful part of the work.
